7 quick tricks for a beautiful body

If you've got a big event ahead and want to look good and feel good, there are many tips and secrets to help you achieve that beautiful body. From bloat-inducing foods to avoid, to fast and cheap beauty routines you can do at home, check out these simple ways to look good from head to toe

Have a last-minute quick workout

While regular exercise is the best route to a great body, some last-minute toning before a big event can help your body look better. To emphasize any muscles on show and/or stomach muscles, give them a workout with some last-minute targeted exercises, such as sit-ups, lunges and bicep curls. The rush of blood to your muscles will temporarily tighten them up to leave them looking more defined. Not only that, the endorphins released by exercise will help you feel more self-confident.

Avoid gas and bloat-inducing foods

Although the best route to a flat stomach is an ongoing regime of healthy eating and exercise, you can cheat your way to a svelter frame prior to a special event with some careful eating. To prevent bloating, on the day of your big event limit your intake of high-fibre foods, such as certain fruit and veg, beans and grains, which are renowned for causing intestinal gas. Also avoid salt, carbonated drinks and chewing gum, all of which can cause bloating and prevent your looking your best.

The real teal: part 2

Teal

This happens to be my favorite color at the moment. I just love the way the color exudes both warmth and strength at the same time. I feel teal is so unique, and would bring an instant glitz if properly combined.

Teal will stand out perfectly well, when combined with gold, silver, copper, ivory.... the list is endless. Enjoy the following beautiful teal combinations :)

Colour Code: Part 1

So, I promised to do a piece on color schemes for weddings, as requested by my special, beautiful, amazing, lovely, funny and intelligent Lily Charm…(using her alias)
By the way, congratulations on your forthcoming wedding too, I will be there with you either with my heart or in person…both count ;)

Lets start by exploring the endless possibilities of orange combinations.
Orange is an amazing color, and although its bright, and will bring instant colour to a wedding, it’s also nice to combine with neutral colors like brown. Actually, I think orange and brown are a lovely colour combination too. Mixing other colors like green, blue and even red all against a strong orange background will add more color and excitement to the mix.

There should be 11 faces on this picture. Average people see 4-6, sensible 8-10. The best see all 11, schizophrenics and paranoids 12 and more. And you?

What about this picture below? There should be 3 faces on it ( father, mother and daughter). Can you see all three?

Old aunt Mildred

So, today was kind of dull. Practically slept all through the day. The rest was so refreshing, and having a talk helped to go a long way.

Well, it's relaxation time, so enjoy this:

Aunt Mildred was a 93-year-old woman who was particularly despondent over the recent death of her husband. She decided that she would just kill herself and join him in death.
Thinking that it would be best to get it over with quickly, she took out his old Army pistol and made the decision to shoot herself in the heart, since it was badly broken in the first place.

Not wanting to miss the vital organ and become a vegetable and a burden to someone, she called her doctor's office to inquire as to just exactly where the heart would be on a woman. The doctor said,'Your heart would be just below your left breast.'

Later that night........ Mildred was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the knee ;)
